Cast Iron | 3 Way with J+J J4CS Electric Actuator
Electric 3 way ball valve using a full bore 3 way cast iron ball valve range with a stainless steel ball and stem, fitted with a J+J electric actuator from stock and fully function tested by the actuated valve specialists at All Valves Online.
Referred to as a cast iron ball valve but in practice it is often a ductile iron ball valve,it provides a robust solution for a flanged 3 way ball valve application, typically conveying heavy fuel oils, gas and various grades of water, and with an electric actuator fitted, they create an economic automatic flanged 3-way ball valve. 3 Way ball valves change the direction of flow whereas a 2 way ball valve isolates the flow.
This version offers a full bore PN16 flanged cast iron electric 3 way ball valve that has a one piece semi-trunnion ball and is available with either an L port or T port ball, with all 3 ports in the same plane (horizontal outlet), fitted via a mounting kit with an industrial weatherproof J+J electric actuator, with local and remote end position confirmation, anti-condensation heater and selectable manual override facility. Every actuated valve supplied by All Valves Online is assembled and bench function tested prior to shipping.
An electric 3 Way L port ball valve diverts the flow, typically diverting either left, or right by rotating 90 degrees from a common centre inlet port. The valve allows flow to mix when in the part open position, if this is an issue Allvalves can configure the electric actuator to reverse and turn through 270 degrees to prevent trans-flow.
The electric 3 way T port ball valve can be used to either divert and./ or mix the flow, depending upon how the cast iron electric 3 way ball valve is configured.
See the 3 way ball valve flow path options here.
