This product is the IP8001 SMART electro pneumatic positioner suitable for 4-20ma control input/output. The Series IP8001 is also available the X14 model which would be suitable for ATEX applications with full ATEX certification and approval.
The IP8001 is the linear or lever type positioner and is therefore typically used on globe or gate valves / control valve applications.
The IP8001 has a number of features including:
Full Output Functions - with options such as alarm point output and 4 to 20mA DC continuous output function which allows remote detection of operating abnormalities.
Control State Display - positioning, deviation and input value are displayed on the internal LCD screen allowing visual verification of the control state.
HART Transmission function - HART can be designated by model selection, allows remote monitorin and setting change of positioner.
Energy saving - lever type features 60% reduced air flow consumption compared to IP8000 type positioner.
