Pneumatic Process Control Valve
The pneumatic process control valve range from All Valves Online includes the Genebre air actuated globe control valve, stocked at the All Valves Online European hub in Barcelona. Every actuated valve is function tested in-house prior to shipping.
Used to automatically control the flow of media in pipes, the pneumatic globe control valve either stops the flow completely, allows it to flow freely, or regulates the flow by partial opening. Typically the globe valve will have its position proportionally controlled using a 4-20mA input control signal generated by a process control device measuring flow, temperature, level etc.
Modern pneumatic air actuated control valves have complex internal guided cages that can produce very accurate flow characteristics and resulting flow rates. Generally built to order and taking into account specific media pressure, pressure drops across the globe valve, temperatures and required flow rates, pneumatic globe valves vary hugely in build time and cost.
All Valves Online offers the Genebre 5065 pneumatic globe control valve with a WCB carbon steel body from 1/2" to 4" with PN16 flanges (ASA150 version is a Genebre 5065A) and offers a working temperature range of -20C to +230C. These air operated globe control valves are not supplied with a positioner to give proportional control, contact All Valves Online for positioner information.
