The FIP ABS ball valve is available with imperial or metric solvent socket end connections, BSP, or flanged PN10/16, and with either EPDM or Viton seals. Where US specifications apply US imperial Sch80 solvent sockets, ASA150 flanges or NPT threaded end connections are available. In the USA the FIP electric ball valve range is known as the IPEX electric ball valve range.
Electric ABS ball valves are used in a very wide range of applications from drinking water to chemicals, but are common in refrigeration and cooling applications as ABS can withstand sub-zero working temperatures.
