This AVOL stainless steel electric ball valve range has flanged end connections according to ANSI B16.5 Class 150 and is offered fitted with a Basic AVA electric actuator and they provide a rugged and reliable, yet economic solution for automatic flow control - typically of chemicals, solvents, paints, water, oils and other media compatible with 316 stainless steel.
The compact yet powerful Basic AVA electric valve actuator is a valve actuator with a minimal feature list of an IP67 weatherproof housing, anti-condensation heater, local visual and volt free end position confirmation, emergency hand operation facility and Models 20 & 50 are supplied pre-wired with 0.8m multi-color, multi-core cable.
The Basic AVA actuator is available with on-off (power open, power close) function which stays put on loss of external power, or fail-safe using energy stored in an internal capacitor to send the actuator to a pre-set position (fail closed, or fail open) on loss of power. The capacitor is charged whenever external power is available, and re-charges as soon as the power is restored after the capacitor's stored energy was used during a power outage.
Every ball valve used in the range have stainless steel wetted parts which give excellent resistance to internal corrosion from the flowing media and external corrosion resistance from most atmospheres typically encountered in general industry. This provides a durable electrically actuated ball valve that offers excellent value for money.
