For water applications a PVC air actuated butterfly valve fitted with the AVP pneumatic actuator offers a commercially competitive solution with sizes from 2" to 12". Generally PVC pneumatic butterfly valves are wafer pattern although lugged and tapped versions can be supplied on request. The Cepex Extreme butterfly has a fully lugged body but uses through bolts as standard, making it a wafer butterfly valve, unless the threaded inserts are fitted.
