The FIP PVC ball valve is available with imperial or metric solvent socket end connections, BSP, or flanged PN10/16, and with EPDM or Viton seals. Where US specifications apply US imperial Sch80 solvent sockets, ASA150 flanges or NPT threaded end connections are available. In the USA the FIP electric ball valve range is known as the IPEX electric ball valve range.

The unique AVA electric actuator with 110-240V multi-voltage capability is a lightweight and compact industrial weatherproof valve actuator with a truly impressive standard specification and option list, and uses the latest technology to create a highly accurate, responsive and durable PVC electric ball valve assembly.

This version is a 2 way PVC fail safe electric ball valve which stores energy in an internal capacitor and subsequently discharges on loss of external power to set the AVA actuator into a pre-set 'safe' position. This is generally set to fail close on loss of power, but can be configured to fail open.
