Modulating 4-20mA or 0-10V cast iron electric butterfly valve with a WRAS approved wafer pattern butterfly valve fitted with a J+J J4CS DPS electric actuator, built and tested in-house by All Valves Online.
The most popular electric butterfly valve shipped by All Valves Online has a wafer pattern cast iron butterfly valve fitted with an electric actuator because the resulting electric actuated butterfly valve can be used in such a wide range of applications, including drinking water as the butterfly valve has UK WRAS approval.
The wafer pattern cast iron butterfly valve has a stainless steel disc and EPDM liner and is supplied with a J+J electric actuator fitted. The J4CS electric actuator from J+J offers a wide multi-voltage range of 24V to 240V, a multi-color and multi-function LED status light, all external connections using supplied electrical DIN plugs, and is fully weatherproof with an IP67 housing.
This version of the J+J J4CS actuator offers proportional control with either a 4-20mA or 0-10V input control signal. It is supplied with a digital positioning system (DPS) that provides a feedback signal as standard, pre-installed and tested by Allvalves. The DPS can be configured to fail closed, fail open or stay put on loss of contol signal, but with stay put on loss of external power. Volt free auxiliary end of travel confirmation switches for both open and closed positions are provided as standard.
All electric butterfly valves supplied by Allvalves are built, configured and bench function tested prior to shipping.
